Biolife Plasma | Mentor is a 15,000 sf single story medical facility space (Structural Steel and Metal Stud Framing | Sticks and Bricks Construction) in Mentor, Ohio. We worked closely with the Developer and completed the ground up steel structure, which included the complete Build-out and project delivery to the owners on time for their scheduled grand opening date. Biolife Plasma is a nation wide state of the art plasma donation center. We remodeled multiple existing center locations in Texas - including Austin and Eagle Pass.

Role: Representative of Developer   

The Developer Representative advocates for the developer and owner's goals for the Developer in a development project and ensures its proper close-out and the successful move-in of a client. The work of an Developer Representative varies in scope by project and per the project developer and owner's requirements; their involvement can happen as early as in the land acquisition process, or later in the actual construction phase of the project. Because owners often don't have the time or expertise to deal with the technicalities of a building or facility project, an Developer Representative can help with project elements including: Securing land, permits and financial incentives for the project Ensuring the project meets local and municipal requirements Fielding request for proposals, bids and hiring vendors such as contractors, engineers, and architecture firms Managing the project budget and schedules, including all sub-budgets and sub-project schedules.

Services Provided:

Construction Management Services | On-site Project Management:

•            Prepared and negotiated cost estimates, budgets, and schedules

•            Selected appropriate construction methods and strategies

•            Interpreted and explained contracts and technical information to workers and other                 professionals

•            Reported on work progress and budget matters to client

•            Collaborated with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists

•            Instructed and supervised construction personnel and activities onsite

•            Responded to work delays and other problems and emergencies

•            Selected,hired, and instructed general contractors and subcontractors

•            Complied with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations

•            Met contractual conditions of performance

•            Reviewed the work progress on daily basis

•            Prepared internal and external reports pertaining to job status

•            Properly planned to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

•            Negotiated terms of agreements, drafted contracts and obtained permits and licenses

•            Acquired insurance documentation from sub- contractors

•            Ensured quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

•            Implemented conflict and crisis management

•            Excellent time and project management skills

•            Prepared Project close and document
